This hotel has a great spot right in the historic center, and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming.

the units are well-equipped with a nice bathroom.

The double room is nicely decorated and has a mini bar, central heating, and an iron. The restaurant food is outstanding, and the breakfast offered is sensational with "real coffee " to order rather then a thermos with filter coffee. The hotel has an amazing location, next to the cathedral.

Spacious rooms with really comfy beds and stunning views. the staff looked smart and professional. the decor was practical and fit for purpose. Plus, this place has a great location right across from the Cathedral! 🏰.

Everyone, in particular the owner, Marie Therese Doerfler was exceptionally kind and helpful to us. The food was also first class.

The maid washed our room coffee cups in the bathroom. Washing them in the restaurant dish washing machine would have been much more hygienic.

I had a great time at this hotel and would definitely return here. The venue was wonderful. The staff were flexible and attentive. My room was fashionable and complete with an unparalleled view and a walk-in shower.

Small and pretty lousy single room on the two star hotel level. Present condition can not keep up with the glorious past of the hotel.

The hotel could use some renovation. The single room was old fashion and the bath room is not meeting todays standards.

Great location.

Our room and bathroom were spacious, but we had invited a sister-in law on our account and she got a tiny one-person room with a brown plastic cupboard of 1,5 m2 that was supposed to be the bathroom where it was too dangerous to shower and too dark even to comb your hair. We were very embarrased for this 2-star room (as if we gave her a cheap present) in a hotel that advertises as a 4-star hotel with a gloriuous past and for this reason it ruined our visit to Solothurn. Note that there about 10 guest and the hotel has 42 rooms. They also do not reply on e-mail (I tried in vain to make a reservation in the restaurant). Ans of course no free wifi in the room.
